What would be the cheapest way to convert any vehicle to run on something other than gas?

Regardless of the type of vehicle, what is the easiest way to convert it to run on something other than gas? Anything at all. Cooking oil, air, hydrogen. Please help me. Thank you.

converting a diesel powered vehicle to run on bio-diesel (made from plant protein) or cooking oil should be the cheapest as it only requires the changing of fuel lines to run bio-diesel, and adding a extra fuel tank, extra filters and fuel heaters and a pump to run cooking oil.

when running cooking oil, a small amount of diesel is needed to start the engine, and to purge the fuel system prior to shutting off the engine.

This is a very general explanation of this process.

hope this helps
