1967 johnson 9.5 hp is worth tuning up?

I got this motor with the trailer,trolling motor and 14 foot aluminum boat I bought for $700.00. The motor will not start after I put the boat in the water. It is a fuel problem. Based on the age of the motor, I am not shure if I should take it in to fix and tune up, do it myself of buy a new motor. It is a 2 cycle motor, I do need to buy a tank and line to the motor. I do not want to fuss around fixing it and waiting for parts to come in, but a new motor is up there. What should I do?

how much would a 2001 pontiac be worth for scrap metal?

it has a broken head gasket and i dont think anyone would wanna buy it! The coolant gets extra hot and leaks out when i press on the gas..i can only drive five minutes, re-filling it with water everywhere.

A friend gave me a used HONDA,mech said it already has water in its engine & needs to be replaced.Is it worth?

a friend gave me this honda car (i believe its a 1998 model), 84k mileage (she said she rarely used it), never turned on the engine, kept it sleeping for 8 years in her garage,…the mech said the engine already has water in it and when he puts gas to run it, it blows off black smoke…he also said that buying a new engine would cost around 1100..and dont forget the tires and other accessories.

However when we drove it from our back alley garage to the front driveway…it worked just fine.

Is my ’98 Pontiac Grand Am worth fixing?

I’ve had it since I was 15 which was the year 2000. It only had 300 miles on it when I bought it for $5,000. Now it has 178,000 miles, I’ve replaced the radiator, water pump, alternator, fuel pump and I think that’s it. I love everything about it but it broke down recently, from what I can figure the heads are cracked and I believe something is wrong with one of my CV joints. I lived out in the middle of nowhere so I used it kind of like a truck, parents didn’t think a truck was right for a girl even though I paid for it. To get a new car would take me a while since I just started my new job and I have to pay college tuition and then xmas is just around the corner. Please give me any advice such as estimate parts pricing, what I should do if I can possibly sell it or trade it and if getting a new car now would be better in the long run. Thanks in advance.
So far the answers are great. Sorry I forgot all about the other details, it has a 2.4L engine, V6, automatic and I do live in the city now, but I occasionally visit my parents and anything can happen when I’m there. The appearance of the car is actually really well, I have one smooth dent that I can probably pop out, other than that just a few small scratches here and there. I have a friend that can help me put it together and has a relative that is a very experienced mechanic just kind of hard to understand and to get a hold.

im wantin to know how much it would be worth. i paid 500 for it. the ttruck had cracked heads and water in the oil. i replaced the heads and all that. its drivable now. the interior is great the body is great just a few little dinks in it. will be body worked and painted………………?
