My car has been towed to the shop twice in the past 3 months! And each time a different problem was found, but the same thing would happen when i got it home. They replaced the timing belt and water pump (not part of the issue i think) and yesterday was the last time in the shop and they replaced my battery and spark plugs, along with a throttle body cleaning. Now its not in the morning or afternoon, just when it feels like it – it will start and idle low then eventually die. My electrical stuff will still work. Now if i start it and hold my foot on the gas and keep it at 2 or 3 rpms for a few seconds-minutes, most of the time it will stay on. This has become less effective lately. Now i will have to start it and it will idle below 1 and quickly put it into drive, after a few minutes of shaky driving it will run normal. Has anyone else had this problem? They mechanic thinks im crazy because of course when he has it my car will start right up! i am very frusterated and hope someone can please help.. thanks for your time

I can spend up to $10k for a good used boat. I need something that can be trailered with a minivan. It needs to be able to handle up to 3 foot chop. It also needs to be able to pull one adult skier on smooth water. I want good fuel efficiency and dependability . I had an outboard in mind. What type of boat, size, and motor (horsepower) would you recommend?

i have a 1995 gmc sierra z71 and recently, yesterday it started chugging on me. I noticed that it would slowly lose speed and power as i was going down the road, but i had cruise control on. Now i notice that it doesn’t really want to stay running, when i give it little gas it seems like its on the verge of stalling which it has done to me a couple times b4. I just changed the plugs and wires on it and was working fine until yesterday. I was told from somebody that there may be water in the gas. So i put dry gas in and threw 20 dollars of gas in and drove it home from work (25 miles from home). During the drive i kept my pedal to the floor except to let it shift smooth and then pedal to the floor again hoping i would burn out the water if that is it. I couldn’t get it to go above 70, however i noticed that once i let off the gas to let it shift and then slowly pressed down the pedal it seemed to gain speed faster. I am open for suggestions. i’m pretty upset about this truck since i got it a month ago. Side note it did like it wanted to stall at times when i first got it and sometimes did. Don’t know if this helps but when it stalls i have to hold the pedal to the floor while turning it over and thats the only way it will start. when cold it turns over and starts and sometimes it will have to be done the other way. Sorry about this being so long i’m just going over everything i can think of.
I’m sorry i did forget to mention that the air filter was changed as well. The fuel filter was apparently replace 2 or 3 years ago.

1. I built a Hydrogen thingy using 2 plastic rulers wrapped with 2 strands of .062″ stainless steel safety wire with the positive wire going to the top of one coil and the negative wire going to the bottom coil. I submerged this coil into a water/baking soda solution. I slowly add less than about half a teaspoon to the solution until I draw about 20 amps. I have it wired to the cigarette lighter so it only has power when the truck is on. I used a water filter from home depot as a container for this and I ran a hose directly to my truck’s intake after the mass air flow sensor.

As move of you know, on such places as Yahoo’s Groups (Watercar, as an example) has over 13,000 people who have successfully built hydrogen boosters for their cars, and have successfully increased gas mileage by 50 to 60% percent.
Well, I want to go “all the way” to 100%- which means I need an HHO generator that will produce 300 Liters of HHO per minute (“LPM”).
So the quesiton is- how is the best way to do this?

Okay so I did change my oil regularly and I have records of that..When I drove to pick up my sister from school, everything was fine. I got home and stayed there for a couple of hours, when I decided to go run another errand. And what do you know, my car starts but hardly, literally, moves. it wont go anywhere. So i filed a no fault claim on the insurance, My insurance is AAA (Triple-A). *I HAVE FULL COVERAGE! Anyway, they investigated and said the Mechanic found out somebody put something inside the gas tank, and they also found a lot of water. He, however, stated that he did not know if this was the cause of the Engine failure.

HalleluYah!
I’ve heard a lot about these “water from fuel” or “boost your gas milage with water” and now I have a question;
Can all of you who tried these things give a report?
Yeah, yeah, I know according to thermodynamics it’s impossible. Here’s what I’m looking for and I’ll say it somewhat bluntly. I want to hear from the poor shlep who bought one of these things and it didn’t work. I searched some, but it seems that most of the claims aren’t gained by experience.
Thank you for your time!
