I am reading a book that has some… very weird sciences to it.
Some people are trying to survive in a post America world, and they need gas to get 200 miles to pick up supplies.
The guy said that in World War 2 people converted wood, coal, charcoal to gas.
it says he needs a hot-water tank for the conversion and that it would get them where they needed but only at about 30 mph.
So my question is, is this really possible.

When I turn on my hydrogen fuel cell or HHO fuel cell and it runs for a little bit, the water starts to turn like yellowish brownish. And it starts to form bubbles on the top of the water that turn really dark brown or black. What kind of water do I need to use and if I need to mix something in with the water, what is it?
Thanks Dave I didn’t want to mention that i was using tap water because I wanted to see if someone would state that could be the problem, but when i use distilled water do I need to mix anything in with it. Or can I for better results?

I know there are many others with this same situation–as I found out during hours of searching online–but their entire situations did not completely fit mine. So I’m going to lay out the whole preliminary dealio here, so you guys have a ton of info to work with.

Last night I went to the grocery store. I was in the store for about 15 minutes and came out and my car would not start. I’ve never had trouble starting it before.
I turn the key and it sounds like its about to start as normal, if I give it gas it will rev once then it just sputters and dies. I’ve ensured the car has gas, I’ve added some HEAT to make sure there is not any water in the fuel.
What else should I consider before I have it towed?

i have a 1987 honda civic, the problem is that it wont turn on. i was driving one day and it just turned off for no reason. the car had gas, oil, and water. the day before it was overheating and it was low on oil, but i put oil that same day. the only problems i know is that it wont pass the smog check and it was leaking the anti freeze. does anybody know what could be wrong with it? someone told me it was the timing belt but i wasnt sure.

I just bought it two days ago.
Twist-N-Go Milano 150cc 2007. I can start the engine without a problem… the lights come on and the engine will run- it’s only a little rummblier than usual. I turn the throttle to give it gas and the engine dies. The lights stay on though and such. I’ve sat with the engine on for 5 minute periods before giving it gas and that hasn’t helped. What kind of damage do you think this has done? The only strange thing I’ve noticed before this is I’ve driven it 90 miles and the fuel gage hasn’t changed- it can only hold a gallon and a half. Could this be a sign I’m out of gas? Only today after the flood did it show my gas as being half empty. When I tilt it to the left it’s full/right it’s empty. How do I fix this? Any suggestions? Do you think my warranty will cover this? I should have gotten comprehensive and not just liability insurance.

All petrol consumers are worried about shortage of oil. Will the discovery of engine that can use water as fuel or water being turned into fuel for engines to solve the shortage situation. When that happens the use of oil will be reduced. Water is plentiful, including the sea wate and it will certainly be cheaper in the long run for any invention of engines to consume as fuel or water to become fuel for the engines.
