1992 F150 Ford Truck Will Not Start?

It’s 8 Cylinder, was given to me a year ago and had sat in a yard for several years. I had to have a rebuilt transmission put in and alternator right after I got it. Recently it has been acting up, like once in awhile no matter how hard you press on the gas pedal, it will not accelerate ( so when it did this I had to shift to 2nd gear ( automatic transmission) But it only did this once in a blue moon. Now it sounds like it wants to start, in fact starts for a second but then just won’t. The spark plugs haven’t been changed in years. The battery is about a year old ( radio comes on, lights full force, etc.) The fuel filter was changed also after I got the truck because there was probably water in the gas line? Question can it be battery is too weak, can it be spark plugs, is it something in the fuel line and if so how do you get it out? I have a background in computers but as you can tell I am not bright when it comes to cars. I haven’t tried to jump the truck off yet.

Something wrong with my truck?

So I have a 95 Rodeo Ive had it for about 6months. There is a few things wrong with it. I need a new engine my water pump is gone and someone put water in my gas tank so my engine ticks really bad but the thing i don’t understand is since I need a water pump my truck overheats all the time so when I pull over to put antifreeze in it the engine would be cold I can touch it even though it could be running for hours. WHY!!?!! seems wierd to me
I drained my gas and had my engine dried out what ever that mean I’m just curious when the need inside my truck says its HOT and my engine is cold after bring driving for a few hours I already no that I need a water pump I no everything thats wrong with it except that

truck running rough, doesn’t want to gain speed, won’t go above 70mph?

i have a 1995 gmc sierra z71 and recently, yesterday it started chugging on me. I noticed that it would slowly lose speed and power as i was going down the road, but i had cruise control on. Now i notice that it doesn’t really want to stay running, when i give it little gas it seems like its on the verge of stalling which it has done to me a couple times b4. I just changed the plugs and wires on it and was working fine until yesterday. I was told from somebody that there may be water in the gas. So i put dry gas in and threw 20 dollars of gas in and drove it home from work (25 miles from home). During the drive i kept my pedal to the floor except to let it shift smooth and then pedal to the floor again hoping i would burn out the water if that is it. I couldn’t get it to go above 70, however i noticed that once i let off the gas to let it shift and then slowly pressed down the pedal it seemed to gain speed faster. I am open for suggestions. i’m pretty upset about this truck since i got it a month ago. Side note it did like it wanted to stall at times when i first got it and sometimes did. Don’t know if this helps but when it stalls i have to hold the pedal to the floor while turning it over and thats the only way it will start. when cold it turns over and starts and sometimes it will have to be done the other way. Sorry about this being so long i’m just going over everything i can think of.
I’m sorry i did forget to mention that the air filter was changed as well. The fuel filter was apparently replace 2 or 3 years ago.

Where can I get a cheap HHO Converter for my truck?

Where can I get a cheap HHO Converter for my truck? I want to be able to save gas money and run my truck with hydrogen.

Could my truck have bad spark plugs?

Its a 2003 1500HD Silverado. I havent checked in awhile but i think it has about 50,000 miles maybe 60,000. When drving at low RPM there seems to be no problem but when it hits 4500-5000+ (6000rdlne) the engine makes a popping noise and the engine warning light comes on and sometimes goes off after the rpms drop or sometimes ir wont even go off till i turn the car off and on. Asked my dad about it a long time ago and at the time since the truck had been sitting around for very long periods of time in bad rainy weather he thought there might be water in the fuel lines or something like that but he had my uncle whose a mechanic check it and he didnt think that was the problem and that we shouldnt really worry about it. (this was a few years ago.) Now that i drive the truck my dad doesnt really seem to care about the problem much at all anymore and in fact thinks its better it stay that way since the truck has to much power and the problem inhibits that so i dont drive too recklessly. But ive notced that the problem is sucking fuel big time and i really need it fixed.
its an automatic! it cant hit 6000 rpm. i was just stating that that was the redline rpm. i am a immature 17 year old with a 6 liter truck of course im going to have a little fun with it on occasion.

My truck has a hard time starting (10 points for best answer)?

My truck, a 1996 5.0L V8 with 81K miles. Has a hard time starting. It started doing it last night. It cranks for about 5 or 6 seconds then it finally starts. Its in nearly Perfect condition and i just recently (about 6K miles ago) had a new distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, new exhaust system. I tryed running preminum fuel and a fuel additive thinking water in the fuel an that doesn’t help. Anyone have any ideas?
its a manual trans, 4×4
forgot to add, it recieved a new battery and clutch about 7K miles ago

What is wrong with my truck?

Car/Conditions: 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD V6 Automatic a little over 100k miles, usually it does this the first time I start it.
First issue: When I attempt to start it it takes longer than it should.
Second issue: It does not shift gears properly. It goes from directly from 2 to 3 then to 4 quickly when I gas it. Normally it just progresses to 3, never makes it, and changes gears.

here`s a lil more to my truck question?

The truck set for a year I bought it from a friend It needed a radiator. Got one. a battery. Got one of those too. filled it with antifreeze. Took off in it. I filled the gas tank checked the oil . It has ran great, great gas mileage drives very good. No misses sputters or anything. Fires right up in the mornings, High idle kicks in and then goes off perfectly. I drove to the lil store on the corner, less than 3/4 of a mile, killed the truck went inside came out and damn it, antifreeze all over the ground. Water pump is out. drove back to the house and put a new water pump on. I adjusted the kickdown cable for my second gear to last just a lil longer and i went for a test drive to make sure no leaks when It starts to run bad. as you drive 1st gear, its an aod mind you, it winds up to about 2000 rpms and shifts 2nd gear slight acceleration increase with the pedel and the same thing should happen as before but not with this one. It cuts out and backfires through the aircleaner. It just had a complete tune-up just 2 weeks before I bought it cap rotor plugs wires aircleaner I put a fuel filter and it had the oil changed. Does my truck have 2 fuel pumps on it One in the tank and one on my frame rail 1986 bronco 302 fuel injected EB edition 4×4 4 speed aod could one of my fuel pumps be going bad or could I have bought gas with water in it If my ignition module is going bad is there anyway to check it.

Why will my 1987 Chevrolet truck not start?

OK. so like 8 months ago my nephew decided to play gas man and decided to fill my tank up with the water hose. So I never tried to start it. Like 3 months later I got to fixing it, I syphoned the gas tank, put in fresh gas and some water dryer, replaced fuel filter. The truck would start but when I dropped it down into drive it wouls stall out everytime. So it set for a couple more months, I figured I might of not got all the gas out. So I disconnected the fuel line at the fuel filter, turned on the pump and drained the gas that way. Then put in fresh 93 gas with some water dryer, replaced the fuel filter again, and now it won’t even start. It will try though. I put some starting fluid in there and it will start but then it dies right away. So, its not getting gas, right? I disconnected the gas line at the TBI and turned the pump on and gas is coming out. So then I had somebody try to start it, with the pedal down, I couldn’t see any gas coming out of the injectors. Could I have messed up the fuel pump when I used it to drain the tank? It is pushing a nice amount of gas though. What do you’ll think it is? What steps should I take to diagnose and fix the problem? I really need to fix this truck. My mom is so tired of it sitting in the drive way and she said it had to be gone by Thanksgiving or she is calling the junkyard. Thank you for any help.
