Think you’ll be driving a gasoline powered car in 2016?
I believe gas cars will be relics in 10 years. I’m rooting for hydrogen, or as in “Back to the Future”, the Fusion powered car, but that’s way down the road, IMO.

I have a toyota solora with a fuel injector it does not have a filter.. I cranked my car 1 day after filling it up at a gas station I dont usually go to and my car engine is like jerking when I am driving its fine only when I am not moving or moving slowly does the engine jerk. I went to an auto place to get something to pour in the gas tank to remove water the person said theres dirty gas at that station and like 50 people came in with my same problem.. So now after pouring this stuff in my tank its been one day and the engine is still jerking.. so what should I do now? should I let the gas run out on its on or dilute it by putting more gas? Im really not sure what to do but I dont want to bring it to toyota so they can charge me like 1000 dollars for nothing. any ideas?
no it doesnt have a fuel filter I asked a shop to change it before and they told me that my car has a fuel injector no filter to change
I dont have a fuel pump i have a fuel injector
OK so its not the gas after all LOL I need need spark plugs:) Thanks yall
- Electrics have problems with recharge time and distance limits.
- Hybrids are nice but still use gas. Better fuel?
- Bio-diesel is ok but can we create enough oil?
- BMW is using Hydrogen but it is costly to produce and dangerous.
So Yahoo what are your creative ideas. Thanks for your answers in advance.
I have two ideas:
1. A different kind of Hybrid car. Human / Electric. Batteries run the motor but the car only runs if a person is pedaling to spin a generator to feed the batteries. It should also be able to be plugged in for over night recharging.
Solves two problems: Distance and weight loss.
I know they still have to install the hydrogen refueling stations at the gas stations, so I’m guessing that will take a while. Also, do you plan to get one when they are available to you? Why, or why not?
With gas going for over $1.30 a Liter in most parts do you think that SUVs, Muscle cars and big trucks will be the thing of the past?
Some people say that even if gas was $2 a Liter it still wont stop some people to drive their gas guzzlers.
I personally think that there should be a way to convert any car you love that has low gas mileage with a hydrogen engine or something similar.
Think this is possible in the not so distant future?
I get really frustrated every week as I buy fuel for my delivery truck, trying to make ends meet. But on the other hand I have to wonder IF this isn’t the incentive we need as a nation to reduce our dependency on foreign oil and create efficient mass transit—e-fuels—car pooling—hydrogen—whatever the answer might be—do you agree?
i think i remember my late husband saying to put rubbing alcohol( the small bottle) to one full gas tank and drive it for a long time. something about the alcohol absorbs the water. is this true? is it safe to do?
This question is regarding alternative fuel for cars. With gas prices being so high I thought this might be the next generation application to reduce gas prices. Any thoughts on this?
i have a 1989 ford bronco 302 5.0l v8 & the other day i grabbed a wrong can & put water into my truck instead of gas, i’ve tried starting it there for its all in my fuel system it will turn over but wont start need help !

Towards the end of video in the first link, he talks about how his car is a gasoline/water hybrid.
Water Fueled Car Engine:http://www.waterengine.org/
After stumbling upon the latter website I decided to do a Google search on the water engine and found several sources which all seemed at least superficially consistent.
My biggest questions may answer each other, but here they are.
Why isn’t this technology being implemented are larger scales?
How much electricity does it required to trigger electrolysis?
Are we waiting for an electrical breakthrough such as more efficient solar energy or more compact power storage?
