would you convert your car (knowing that it will void all warranty’s). I have a friend who is working on this at his grad school and he claims he uses electrolysis to strip the hydrogen fro water and uses it as fuel, he guess he can setup install/labor/materials for about $3K per car, but it would be able to get 60-80 miles per gallon of water.
waterpoweredcar.com has been around for over ten years, and there is research being done, I am only going off what a very close friend of 15 years has told me, and he seems very excited about it.

I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan SE that we just changed the timing belt and water pump on. Now it isn’t getting fuel to the injectors…the fuel is up to the engine…I was told that there should be a reset switch for the fuel system somewhere on the vehicle…Is there one and where is it located?
We ran the battery dead trying to start it.
There is no odor of gas in the engine compartment…even when you hold the pedal to the floor…with the air system disconnected.

I’m leaving in the morning on a 125 mile trip and have no coolant. I dont have enough money to pay for coolant and gas. What free coolant can i use? I’ve heard others just use water. I know i need to buy coolant but I have a friend where im going that has some he will give me for free when i get there.

Just wondering if there exist such a product in the market. Googled it and couldn’t find one so far. Thought if there is a water purifiers , there could be a solution for car emission gas(and possibly for global warming). Anyone knows better?

I’ve thought about water in the gasoline, and have put Prestone Water Remover in the gas tank.
I’ve thought about the fuel filter, but from what I’ve read, if the filter was bad, then it would sputter when I accelerated, which it does not.
The boat accelerates just fine, zero issues. It idles extremely rough and stalls when put in gear if you don’t rev the engine right away. It will also stall if left in idle for more than a minute.
After scouring the internet, I’m at a loss. What could be the solution?

I have all the carpet out of the boat right now and am finding a bunch of rotted wood everywhere. It looks like any water that makes it into the gas tank compartment has nowhere to go which is why a lot of the wood is rotted. I have a 23′ 1987 sea ray sorrento. I need to move forward with the carpet but was wondering about the water situation in that compartment. Thanks.

I read an article in a local paper about an inventor in Wi that is working on an electric vehicle powered by bumps in the road or suspension travel—I imagine it’s a system that uses the up and down motion of the shocks to energize a magnetic field and generate electricty to charge the batteries. Sounds simple and is simliar to regenerative braking in that the energy used to stop a car is put back in to moving the car. Article is here:

are there any inventive mechanics out there that can make a hydrogen or electric hybrid out of a fuel guzzler ? I know in cold areas such as alaska and north Dakota we had engine heaters that you could plug in to your house outlet …necessity the mother of invention…why not a plug in hybrid homemade

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer & a 1986 Mustang. They get about the same, pitiful mileage of about 14mpg. I can’t afford a new car/hybrid. Is there anyway to get better mileage out of either other than the basics…tire inflation, oil & filter replacements, etc. And…unfortunately, a bicycle won’t take me where I need to go. Are hydrogen or water conversion kits really effective & would either work for me? Thanks for any suggestions.
