from the gas station. Turns out i bout $25 worth of water not gas. The auto store drained my tanks and said mam u have a tank full of water it cost me $1100 for them to do what they had to do. what can i do llegaly to make them pay for it.??
Ive heard that some gas stations have bad gas or water theirs down and charge less for it. I want to know if they do and if it will mess up your car at all. I know stations like shell add stuff that “cleans your engine” and “makes less emitions” but then they charge more. I just want gas.
I paid $25 cash in a Shell gas station tuesday morning. After I left the gas station, the car started acting up. so, it broke down 2 miles away from the gas station. I called the towing company, they brought the car to the shop to get it check up. The next day, the shop called me saying ” there’s a huge amount of water in the gas tank. about 70% water.” So, they asked me if i filled up the tank myself recently or someone else did it. I said i just left the gas station, that was when it broke down on me. they suggested me to talk to the gas station see if i can get my $700 bill taken cared of. I don’t know what to do? I heard lots of people say that the gas station is not gonna pay me back. I need some ideas now. I am afraid they are not gonna take me seriously. please help.
