My truck, a 1996 5.0L V8 with 81K miles. Has a hard time starting. It started doing it last night. It cranks for about 5 or 6 seconds then it finally starts. Its in nearly Perfect condition and i just recently (about 6K miles ago) had a new distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, new exhaust system. I tryed running preminum fuel and a fuel additive thinking water in the fuel an that doesn’t help. Anyone have any ideas?
its a manual trans, 4×4
forgot to add, it recieved a new battery and clutch about 7K miles ago

did not have a problem all week when my car was sitting in my apartment’s parking garage for 5 days in 30 degree weather (i was warming it up for 15-20 minutes everyday though, roads were too icey/snow to drive on). It started fine. Drove it thursday-saturday, no probs. Today, drove it and it was fine. Pulled it in my parent’s garage, came back an hour later, tried to start it and it wouldnt start. Has a new battery, we just had the terminals tightened. I tried to start it a few times to no avail, and finally the 4th time put my foot on the gas a bit and it started fine.

My 94 Grand Caravan ES model 3.8L/V6 started rough idling, code said 27, 21. Replaced Oxygen sensor (94 only has one), Catalytic Converter, running normal for a while, then it came back again. The van is about 195000 miles on it. If engine rpm over 1000, everything seems fine, however, highway driving would experience something like miss fire. When rough idling, it does pump out white color exhaust, feels like water and gas mixture. What could be wrong or any cure for this?

hey i bought this jet ski yesterday and it started up fine twice right away when i demo’d it. but today i tried to start it and it doesnt kick over. i bought it knowing the gauges dont work, it has a little bit of water in it and i was wondering what i could do to fix that, they said the warning light still works though

Ok i have a 2006 baja warrior mini bike, today i went to put gas in it to go riding for awhile, i started to put gas in it and then the gas was white, i stoped right away, a good amount got in there, no it wont start, it wont turn over, is this water is the gas? if soo is there something i can get to fix this problem? thanks

All of a sudden, am having trouble starting my ’94 F-250 Diesel. Engine cranks, but it won’t fire. I’ve verified that fuel is getting pumped to the fuel filter/water separator, which I’ve drained (it’s new, so I don’t see how it can otherwise be clogged.) How/where else can I check for a problem beyond the fuel/water separator?
