I am unsure how to set up this problem, it looks easy enough, I just want a second opinon…
1.2 mL of gasoline weighs 1.0 grams. What is the weight of 7mL of gasoline.
Does it work out to be 8.4 grams?
Also,
If there are about 37 moles of h2o in a glass of water, how many h2o molecules are in that glass?
For this one I am unsure of what conversion I am supposed to use.
Thank you for your assistance.

my mower has been idling really rough and died on me yesterday. I checked the plug and it was really nasty looking, black and had stuff all over it. So i replaced it and mowed a yard after that, it ran fine for an hour, then started having poping sounds. I checked it again this morning and the plug is bad already and it has only been used for about 3 hours. I change my oil even though it wasn’t time yet, and i thought maybe somehow water got in my gas, so i drained the gas tank and went and bought new gas. I did all that and the plug went bad anyways, what could be the problem, and what can be done to help the mower. It is not even a year old, but has seen alot of mowing, because i mow with it about 15 hours a week.

our 2003 ford taurus has a steel line from the fuel tank, which then goes to a pvc type tubing for the last 8 inches or so to the fuel filter. i have a replacement tubing and new fuel filter connector, but how the heck do i get the nylon tubing onto the steel line? the steel line had flanges or ridges and the tubing is not very flexible. im bright enough to not be trying a torch, but im out of ideas….ive heated the tubing in water for about 15 minutes and that didnt work, even greased the steel line with a little oil….the tubing is just to stiff to work onto the line. can i buy a steel to nylon compression fitting or something?
I do have the right size line, as per the manual
the tubing is only about 8 inches long, and i boiled the last 3 inches or so to try to soften it, and that didnt really work. it didnt soften any as far as i could tell

Hi, I replaced the fuel pump. Had to drain all the gas into a 5 gallon bucket sprayed out with water then let dry after. I wasn’t planning on putting the gas back in my tank but my friends dad said its not gonna hurt anything. After it was all drained into the bucket I seen a couple things that were settling at the bottom.. Maybe a little from the gas tank and a little from the window blowing stuff in. Let it settle and go down to the bottom of the bucket then siphon it back into a gas can but didn’t suck up any of that shit that was on the bottom left a like a quarter of a gallon so I didn’t suck that stuff up.

I have over 154,000 miles on it. Recently had a water pump and thermostat changed (believe it or not, first major repair ever for this car). Gradually over time–since it has hit 100,000 miles–the gas mileage has become worse. Now I can only go about 120 miles on 1/2 tank. When the dealer changed out my water pump and thermostat, I had them check all the other components and they found nothing wrong besides the car’s advanced miles to indicate why the gas mileage is horrible. Is it because my car is getting old? Other than this, I have been very satisfied with this car.
I drive 60 miles round-trip to and from work each day, 55 to 60 MPH on cruise on a straight highway.
This car was a gift from my dad, and I do not want to disappoint him by parting with it early and getting another car; I want to drive it until it poops out or until it becomes too expensive to repair.
This car still has the original factory alternator.

OK,
I read somewhere that pouring a few cups of water in a vehicle’s fuel tank will disable the vehicle.
Is this true ?
And if it is true, will the engine not start at all, or will it start and then stall after some time ?
Also, is the engine damaged severely, and if yes, how is it repaired ?
Thank you very much for your time and effort.
God bless you and your loved ones.
Well, ‘Mr SS’ you are right.
I am rather ‘little miss evil’.
How about that.

…on the surface – and politically (there are more farm lobbies per person than any other group, I understand) – it seems like a good deal. The devil, however, is in the details, as they say.
1) Most estimates say that it takes the equivalent of 70% to 130% of the energy ethanol derived from 1 bushel of corn to create that ethanol. Compare that to a comparable statistic for oil of about 10% to 15%. That means ethanol is about 10x less efficient to produce than oil. That completely wipes out any cost advantage corn may have over oil.
2) You cannot ship ethanol by pipeline, due to unwanted water buildup. This means that an ethanol plant needs to be build near every major population center. Ethanol must be trucked and cannot be stored over long periods. The corn must be trucked to the myriad of plants for processing. All of this costs alot of money and energy that oil does not suffer from.
3) Ethanol creates as much smog as gas.
Are we sure ethanol is the correct solution?
4) The amount of corn to replace oil would be impractical and unimaginable. Thus, the food chain will compete with energy for corn, therby driving up the price of corn — and everything that depends on corn, like feed for pigs and cows. Already the price of feed corn has doubled in the past couple years.
