if some one designed a water powered car do you think the price of water would go up?

ive been throwing this idea around in my mind for quite some time now just like many others have i assume about a water powered car. the only problem is i see the price of water rising from 80 some thing cents a gallon to the price of gas at around 4 dollars. and as humans obviously we need to drink water to survive. does any one else see this as a problem if a water powered car became a reality?

Why do we have to pay the full price for a gallon of ethanol/gas blended?

When the ethanol has only two thirds the BTU’s as gasoline! They should require separate pumps for blended gas, straight gas and E85 the worst of the choices! The weights and measures people should enforce all laws pertaining to this! They are selling watered down fuel and labeling it as straight gas! If you use only straight gasoline you will see an immediate improvement in your MPG!
Whether it’s required by law or not I buy gas that is labeled gas with no ethanol, 100% gas! And Jennifer has to work for a corn company to be misrepresenting things with her smear like that! It costs one sixth more to produce a gallon of ethanol gas and you could only drive two thirds of the distance that you could if you were driving with a gallon of conventional gasoline! Hydrogen has very little BTU’s in a cubic yard of hydrogen gas! For the equivalent of a gallon of gasoline in conparison you would only go one third the distance unless it was in the form of hydrides which would give a tiny improvement!
Every time they blend in something else they are displacing the usable portion that provides the energy! I remember when NY state required the maximum permissible price per gallon on the pumps why is that not being provided any longer?
I think many of you need to take an applied mathematics class! Your contentions by themselves are meaningless they would need to be connected to a constant! If 20% of your fuel supply is ethanol and you have a 30 gallon tank like most SUV’s, then you have one fifth of your fuel supply comprising ethanol or 5 into 30 equals 6 gallons of ethanol in the tank!Six from 30 equals 24 comprising regular gas offering maybe 21 miles per gallon tops in a SUV, or 504 miles on that 24 gallons and two thirds of 21 equals 14 miles times 6 gallons of cheap bad ethanol So with a 30 gallon tank expect 588 miles tops! Of course that would be optimal and no one drives under those conditions so subtract another 5 miles per gallon from each side of the equation!
A 30 gallon tank filled with ethanol will give you two thirds of 21 miles per gallon or 14 miles per gallon times 30 gallons equals 420 miles on a tank full! If you have a 20 gallon tank you get 280 miles to a tank full! If fuel were selling for 3 dollars a gallon and it was pure ethanol it should only be priced at 2 dollars a gallon, because it would only be useful as far as two thirds of the distance in comparison to a gallon of gasoline!A 30 gallon tank full should only cost two times 30 or 60 to fill your vehicle! A 20 gallon tank full should only cost 40 dollars to fill your vehicle!

good asking price for my camaro?

im thinking about selling my ’96 Camaro SS, and was wondering what a good asking price is. I believe its completely stock, from what ive heard is a better selling point because nobody has messed with it??? Clean title…NOT salvaged, a couple small dings in the body NO dents or chipped paint though, Leather ( in good shape…small rip on side of drivers seat) , t-tops ( dont leak), new engine (less than 10k miles on it),brand new tires (under 100 miles- $800), just replaced fuel pump, water pump, thermostat, and both window motors two weeks ago- $2,000. Im trying not to forget anything to give you the best price gauge. ummm. no leaks that im aware of. The only real negative i can think of is that there is no a/c. I didnt want to pay the $400 to fix it since i dont really run it anyway. Minor wear, after all it is 13 years old. I think thats about it…any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

What is the changing price of gas going to do the Cost to Own of Hybrids?

I’m looking to buy a car here and was doing the research. The Cost to Own of Hybrids was consistently more than similar (or same) model non-Hybrids. The only advantages Hybrids have is with the fuel costs over the life of the car, and the Hybrid tax credit. But, they’re at a disadvantage with almost everything else. And, they’re killed by the depreciation, due it seems to the high invoice price. (O.K. I think I just unintentionally made a really good argument for buying Hybrids Used.)

Motorists Complain About The High Price Of Gasoline. But 74 Percent Of Americans Drink Bottled…?

…water, which is more
expensive than gasoline. Does toting bottled water give you a sense of sophistication?
Making bottles to meet our demand for bottled water, required the equivalent of more than 17 Million barrels of oil last year.
In blind tastes, most consumers couldn’t tell the difference between tap and bottled water. Is it really more safe? Why are we spending so much for it?
And yet we complain about gasoline, unlike gasoline we have a choice to drink water for free, TAP!

Was Kuwait Invaded To Raise Oil Price And A Vehicle That Used Water For Fuel In 1965 Hidden From The World?

The real question! … Is there anything anyone can do to put an end to this fleecing of the world by big oil?
In1965 I saw a new military vehicle that used water for fuel. When there was no gas at the pump, I called the US Army Transportation School where the vehicle had been displayed and found there was no trace remaining.http://www.waterforfuel.com/index.html
Search for “Water for fuel” and you will find lots of information on this subject.http://www.american.edu/ted/KUWAIT.HTM
Iraqi officials continued to warn Kuwait that it would not tolerate the artificial depression of oil prices due to Kuwaiti overproduction, Kuwait did not heed these admonitions. Some analysts have speculated that one of Saddam Hussein’s main motivations in invading Iraq was to punish the ruling al-Sabah family in Kuwait for not stopping its policy of overproduction.
