I love cars. I’m all for green/hydrogen/electric/alternative fuel cars, and know that they will eventually take over gas powered cars in the future. My question is this: what will happen to all the great gas powered cars? I’m talking about 350 Chevy’s, V8 bmw’s, 3.2 liter porches, rear wheel drive muscle. Stored in museums? Increase or decrease in value? Will we still be able to drive these beasts in 10 or 20 years? What are your thoughts?
As an alternate fuel source, hydrogen has great potential. It is present in unlimited quantities in our atmosphere, it burns clean and leaves only water as a result of combustion. One of the current deterents against hydrogen is that it takes a large volume of gas to power a vehicle for long distance trips. Hydrogen is not easily compressed so the volume of the fuel tank in your vehicle is prohibitive for a small to medium car.
Im just looking for a little insight for a summer project i have planned. whether it be a small lawnmower style engine, (if possible, or i go get a junker with a decent engine. heres the kid i was looking at, http://water4gas.com/2books.htm?hop=love2008#info, but what my question is, this is a combination of gas and HHO gas so where does the HHO gas get hooked up to, the carb? also would it be easy to make the container for the electolisis? also how does the fuel efficient kick in, do you control the flow of the gas or will it just natuarlly use less gas since it has the HHO coming in as well? anyways just looking for some insight or ideas or if im just crazy here but i think itd be really cool if i good get something like that to work. thanks

Rate & Comment! A model car that uses a fuel cell to separate hydrogen and oxygen from water, and then convert it into electricity to spin the wheels. Only took like 10 mins to make. These are some of the concepts I wanted to discuss with people who are interested in the subject. Currently I came across some designs for making water explode but without a hydrogen electrolysis process. By generating a plasma electrical wav…
