ive been throwing this idea around in my mind for quite some time now just like many others have i assume about a water powered car. the only problem is i see the price of water rising from 80 some thing cents a gallon to the price of gas at around 4 dollars. and as humans obviously we need to drink water to survive. does any one else see this as a problem if a water powered car became a reality?

I have been reading about many water powered cars that people have made. On one site they say that it’s against the law in the US for anyone to manufcature or produce water fuelled cars. Has anyone heard of this? You can read this at

see page three, the first full paragraph on that page.

for instance, if my home suffers from a power outage, and I need to go take a warm bath, how may I go about heating up the water with a generator?

I am going to sum up the information that I already know about fuel cell powered car. What I need is for someone to correct me if I am wrong.
Ok, from what I know these fuel cells generate electricity. They generate electricity by combining Hydrogen and oxygen. Which produces a by product of water and heat. Then the electricity that is generated is then used power electric motor which does the actual work of moving the car.
If this info is correct, then it leads me to my next question. Could you power a electric car ,that is either factory or converted, using a fuel cell.

You know I don’t care if I’m being monitored. This was on the news….
Sure, I’ve known about and supported this for ages. It’s a very good idea, but there are two problems;
1. Would the method create enough energy to power a car?
YES, especially in warmer climates. colder ones need hybrid gas.
This is not a steam engine….
