I am talking about purified water, not filtered water (like Pepsi’s deal) that you can find in the stores for 50 cents 5 gallons. Purified or Spring water costs at a convenient store about $1 for a qt. There are 4 qts in a gallon. I am paying $2.40 gallon of gas in Georgia.
ive heard a lot recently that people are finding out that higher compression with forced induction makes more power with less boost-as long as its fuel injected with the proper pistons, an excellent tune for it, & a good sized intercooler.
this question is regarding engines running on up to 93 octane gas with no kind of (methane, water, alky, & etc…) injection.
how do they compare & is there any way to determine the given power output?
car and need to turn it like 2 to 3 time before the car start. Some of you mention that I may need a new STARTER or a SOLENOID. My dad took my car today to a mechanic that we know and he said he found nothing wrong with the car. he said the starter looks fine. And believe that Water is in my Gas Tank from getting gas from different gas station causes my car not to start sometime. So my question is this even possible? Water in tank would cause me to not start the car sometime and hear the “clicking” noise? I’m lost on this subject. I was sure its the starter.
We can prime the carbs with starter fluid and it starts and runs good. Also, it is now doing something odd when out on the water. If you are at full throttle for a bit, it will just vut out on you and shut down too. You have to reprime with starter fluid also in that case. What do you think could be the cause? Fuel pump? Fuel Filter? Something else?
Why my 00 Durango 5.9 with 107k,miles riding for minutes or hours on a trip mostly highways speed at 60 mph or more when I stop for explames to get gas or something . When I started back up the water temp gages increase not all the way to the hot zone and I can feel vibration the fan is always on it have coolant , What is causing this problem any suggest? Oh When I driving on the road the water gages stay in the normal areas this only happen when I go and start up the engine again!
The water temp gages increase for a minutes or so also the vibration , Then it go back to normal.
Water Bottle – Nalgene 32 ounce/900ml narrow mouth
I found this water bottle for the purpose of holding gas/oil fuel mix(for a 2-stroke engine).
I know I am not suppose to use this “water” container.
But would this polyethylene(BPA free) container hold at least this fuel mix? Gasoline?
I like this water bottles for its original purpose.
But for this fuel purpose I find that the narrow mouth and container size absolutely perfect.
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, up until this week it drove fine. Now it putts a little bit and shuts off with out a check engine light or anything. It only shuts off if Im driving slow or coming to a stop. But the thing is it does sometimes. I believe its one of the spark plugs that has backfired because the truck starts back up, but I am not sure. I had this problem about two months ago but come to find out I had water in my gas tank. I put gas treatment in to remove the water and that worked fine. I plan on getting a tune up this weekend but and plan on telling them to check into why it shuts off but not exactly sure what else they should check for if its not the spark plugs
