My ’06 camry 4cylinder with 66K miles has been making a slight rumblings noise since Sunday. Leaving work today, I thought the car was going to die because the noise was very loud and persisted as I pressed on the gas. I had to go on the freeway and stayed to the right for fear that something would happen. It was weird but at some points on the freeway there was no noise at all and I could pick up speed to reach home. As I was getting an oil change yesterday, the technician stated that it sounds like a problem with my water pump bearings. The noise is coming from the area that has a belt spinning.

I had mt check engine light come on Friday and I was completely angry!( I had my car in the shop the week before for the same problem and it was MAP sensor.) Well 2 days later they finally get to my car and call me to say it is fixed and the only thing they could find was the air filter clips were not clipped on one side and they fixed it and cleaned the air filter box itself. Well it was free of charge because I had been there so many times in the past 2 months! What I want to know is they said they could not find anything else wrong but if the light comes on again to bring it back, the code they got was Air Fuel problem. So what does this code mean? I have a 2001 hyundai accent. They said there could also be water in the gas tank but if it cam on again they would do a more extensive testing. Did I mention this was a dealership?

I drive a 99 chevy cavalier, and when I got it a couple years ago it did not come with a drivers manual. Anyway, I noticed one of the lights occasionally flashes on while I’m driving, but then a second later flashes back off. It’s been doing that for like 2-3 days now. It’s on the left side of the wheel and it looks like the shape of a tank, with a squiggly line at the bottom (to signify water? gas? ?? oil?)and has an arrow inside it that points down. This is easy 10 points for you car people out there!
Well here is a drawing of it…

I have a 2003 Toyota Matrix with nearly 90,000 miles on it.
In Feb, I was on a road trip and happened to notice I was running low on gas. I had just hit a stretch where there were no gas stations and by the time I got to one, my check engine light was on and my 12 gallon tank took 13.08 gallons of gasoline.
I drove a few hundred miles with my CEL on before I figured I better get it checked. I went to Autozone and the guys said they thought the problem was probably with my fuel system, maybe an O2 sensor or something. I told them about nearly running out of gas and they that might have been it so they reset the CEL.

This person in my family has had history of this, as well as other symptoms, on and off, for couple of years now. We’ve noticed that when urine starts to get very, very dark, and/or oily_in a way that resembles gasoline in water_we put up our guard and try for her not to dehydrate. As well as watch her breathing, since she’s 24 hours on a concentrator for her COPD and CHF, and the urine episode comes accompanied by the breathing problems.
Having thouroughly explained and asked her doctors during these years they have never come up with a simple solution. Instead a complex one is given. And I have to say that I’ve learned a bit more about many of her problems through respiratory technicians and nurses!!!
Why the oily urine?
