I am looking for a product that will stop my fuel tanks from being corroded by ethanol. Does it exist? Where?

I have searched the net and so far, I have not found a product that will inhibit the corrosion caused by ethanol in gasoline. It has been known for a long time that ethanol causes corrosion in mild steel due to higher water content and acidic contaminants such as formic and acetic acid that can arise during processing (as well as oxidation of the fuel during storage). I asked my fuel supplier this question, and he told me that ethanol does not cause corrosion. I then read an article that was written in 1991 that details the problem and names products such as Shell ALCOOL (marketed in Brazil). I would think that the refiners would put rust inhibitors in the fuel(silly me!).

recieve many answers from idiots that must live in te dark ages.i still need this info if any of ya;ll know where to get it. now this is for the idiots or non believers. try this. http/water4gas.com. its really hho made from water under the hood of your car.need 40 to 50 miles pergallon. just a word about passive solar.i heat 50 gallons of hot water a day for free.,no electric. cost me 600.00 to build it. buz.

I Am Looking For A Supplier For The Water4gas Kit. Does Anyone Know Of A Good Reliable Supplier?

The water4gas system is totally unique and I can’t wait to get it installed in my car. The book shows me how to build one but I would like to purchase the complete kit if there is one available and it is reasonably priced. I found a mechanic to install it now I just need to find a kit. Thanks for your time.
