i put some gas manually in my 95 cavilier it cranked up and ran for like a minute and then shut off and i coul?

I cant get it to crank. The police came and towed it to because i abonded it I guess. I dont know it smelt like gas to me. If it had water or oil or something would that make it quit? I think my friend gave me some shitty gas,
Okay I had some gas but not much, so my friend brings me like 4 gallons of gas, I smell it, smells gasoline. I put the fuel in, it cranks up for a few seconds then stops and when i turn the key its not starting. Any better? I dont what the fuck is up with it, i was thinking air bubbles, wrong octane fuel? maybe it was a oil gas mix, but it smelt straight like gas or maybe some water got in it i dont know. The police towed it because it was on the side of the road, so all in all, I’m in a little bit of a fucked situation and I dont know what to do,

Could a person use a device that splits water like for hydrogen fuel cell car but keep oxygen for scuba diving?

I heard that this canadian invented a device that splits water into hydrogen and oxygen. Companies use this device to store hydrogen in tanks until it can be used for a hydrogen fuel cell car(like they do in iceland). My question is can you store the Oxygen instead to go on the ultimate scuba adventure? My dads a scientist, but we’re not talking right now so I thought I would ask here.

my hot water smell like fuel, gas, or propane what should i do?

Had the gas man come out ,but found no problems, but i know the pipe had to be welled together and he use some form of paste i’ve been running the water for all day to try to clean it, and two day before i said know drink water till things are better!! i’m buying water now what can i do??

Are car dealerships flopping around like fish out of water desperate for sales?

I bet they are, gas cars are now out of the question with gas being OVER $4 a gallon. People had a hard enough making a living when gas was only $1.75 a gallon, but now, it’s getting impossible for those lower income people.

Are dealerships going to be getting hydro and electric cars soon? Unless they are, I am just going to continue laughing at them as I drive by see how no one’s buying gas cars anymore. Unless, they get electric cars, their low sales they’re getting, it serves them right.
My very next new car will NOT be a gas car, not at these gas prices.

What would you like to ask?

Hi There,
Just recently, i was getting gas for my car, and it was raining, and i think when i removed the gas cap, a small amount of water may have entered my fuel tank, but i’m not sure. Could an automotive expert lend me some advice, and tell me if this is serious or not?
Thank You Very Much,
D.S.

Starter or something more else (cont). Like i mention before I hear a click sometime when I try to start my?

car and need to turn it like 2 to 3 time before the car start. Some of you mention that I may need a new STARTER or a SOLENOID. My dad took my car today to a mechanic that we know and he said he found nothing wrong with the car. he said the starter looks fine. And believe that Water is in my Gas Tank from getting gas from different gas station causes my car not to start sometime. So my question is this even possible? Water in tank would cause me to not start the car sometime and hear the “clicking” noise? I’m lost on this subject. I was sure its the starter.

How will a badly nicked up prop effect my boat? Like this?

I have a 14′ aluminum fishing boat with an older (60′s) 25HP Johnson. It really starts and runs great except in the lake when I give it the gas it seems to only go half speed and won’t plane out. Yes, the prop is chewed up. I bought it this way. The previous owner told me it was that way for him always. It is a BIG old motor. Could it be too heavy and cause this? Although it sits in the water good. Possibly the lower unit? Compression is good. Plugs are good. Runs great.
Prop is badly nicked but what if that doesn’t solve the problem?

What are the possible problems with my car? When I hit the gas, its like im hitting and releasing it.?

I have a 1991 Honda Accord EX 2dr

Now, it has 214,000 miles on it. Which isn’t the life of the engine. I see the same car I have with 250,000+ miles going for 3.5k at car lots. But Im starting to wonder if its dying. Heres why…

First, I replaced the fuel filter, air filer, spark plugs and wires, pulley belts, radiator hose, fuel relay switch, starter, and the brake master cylinder prior to September of last year.
