As you can see by the pic below, the fuel enters by the far right where the fuel pump directs the fuel to the carb. I think you know what I’m talking about. Just looking at getting this car running getting back to normal (cam, crank, fuel lines, water flow, oil flow etc…). So I’m just putting this car together to get it back and running and then break it in for about 500 miles and then start adding better performance to this. Anyway, I read that you should fill the float bowls with new fresh gas to ensure an easy start when everything first putting it back together. Got this thing cleaned on the inside and now, just looking where to put the gas to get it in the float bowls. Don’t really know much about carbs yet so please let me know. Here is the pic (it is just of one side where the fuel line from the fuel pump comes up. I have other angles if you would like to see those as well). Here it is:

After running my air conditioner for a while in my car I noticed a funny sounding noise coming from the floor area followed by drips and sprays of water coming down into the gas/break area and passenger area. And its usually when I turn the corner. What is it??

im just wondering what would happen for an experiment. im pretty sure that when you mix copper (pennies) and Vinnegar (acid) that itcreates hydrogen gas, which is flammable. what i was wondering is
1. is that true
2. would it rise so could you capture the gas with something like a baloon
3. would it be explosive if lighted?
please answer
