My engine over heated and after i put water into the radiator i tried to crank my car well when i did i had to pump the gas peddle for it to crank all the way and then had to keep it at about 1500 rpms the whole time i would drive or sit at a light so i had to put my car into neutral and rev the engine while stopped or my car would cut off under 1000 rpms. What could be wrong I am a single mom and this is my only mode of transportation!

1999 Olds Bravada AWD. 4.3L HO. Replaced the water pump for a similar problem two years ago, thermostat last year, had a problem with coolant leaking/over heating last winter, all problems have been solved, except why my trucks nniiiicceee hot air that blows while I’m driving, goes away when I let off the pedal, then comes back on as I get back up to speed, and doesn’t blow hot at all when it’s parked and idling?

whats the problem with my honda civic 01? whenever i drive for long periods of time when my engine gets hot it starts to shake as the idle gets low and then shakes and shuts off. i went to autozone and said it sounded like a fuel problem? what does it have to sound like to be a fuel problem? could it be the radiator, water pump, throttle sensor,

I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, and put water remover in gas tanks. The problem occurs on both fuel tanks. It runs perfect on cold engine for first 2 to 5 miles, so it appears to be heat related. The severe miss occurs at cruise speed, stop and go driving, and up hills, but will straighten out while under full throttle. It runs OK at idle initially, but after running it on the road and experiencing the severe miss, it struggles to run at idle for about 1 minute, then the RPM picks up to normal and it idles clean again. The Check Engine indicator is NOT lit. Looking for suggestions.

Drained tank found dark color fluid like used oil. Replaced with new diesel. Oil dirty but at good level. Let truck sit for less than hour. On the road it took off ok but began to refuse to accelerate and intermitently came to a near stop with engine still idling. When it reved up, very little and every few seconds even more difficult going up slight uphill. Managed to crawl about 5 miles to get closer to home.
Next day bled 4 injectors, removed.small (air hose?) near oil to alternator tube. Truck ran for about two miles then repeat same. Drained fuel filter/water separator? with primer pump. Found sludge. Did not change filter. Only cleaned and primed.Tried driving it, same. Help.

I try to restart it and it won’t for awhile. Today I got it going by forcing it to stay started. After awhile it idled and I drove it home, with no trouble. Until I turned it off. It started but stalls when I acclerate unless I rev it up until it idles again. My sister just filled it up and power washed it.

A couple days ago when we received some very cold weather ( I live in Canada), my truck had a hard time turning over, when it did, it ran for a bit then idled out when warming up. I restarted it again (after about 5 tries) and it seemed to be fine, minus some unusual shaking and clunking.
It got a little warmer the next day and ran fine (drove for about 80 kms) with no signs of issues.
