i have a 1980 pinto and its an older car and i know that a hydrogen fuel cell can duble mpg and boost power by burning the gas faster and burning more of it and i wonted to know if it wuld heat up my car to much or somthing?
im 15 yrs old and a hidrogen fuel cell is VERRY easy to build……..and can it over heat my engine?

As an alternate fuel source, hydrogen has great potential. It is present in unlimited quantities in our atmosphere, it burns clean and leaves only water as a result of combustion. One of the current deterents against hydrogen is that it takes a large volume of gas to power a vehicle for long distance trips. Hydrogen is not easily compressed so the volume of the fuel tank in your vehicle is prohibitive for a small to medium car.

I have tried to put a voltage intensifier to increase the current in the electrolysis of water by using a special catalyst. I just remember the first law of electrolysis and I try to make a device that is needed to ionize the water more efficiently to split the compund water. the current is directly proportional for the ionization of waters compound to have production of hydrogen and oxygen.Ffor a short time I luckily started the engine with just the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen with the same power as of a gasoline engine w/out modyfying any part of the engine. by just installing it to the engine of a 1988 Sunny Nissan. the exhaust is water vapor. but I didn’t run it from a long distance. having problem with the moisture that makes my motor oil diluted. some of the water vapor are seeping to the piston rings. and the oil in the crank case is starting to have a thick sludge that affects the performance of the engine. Stan meyer Is also using a device called a voltage intensifier circuit

I have a limited knowledge of Hydrogen, but have done some reading on how to build a hyd. gen. that can be put into the trunk of your car. Run on water, and take the H20 and make it HH0, burn the gas in the engine and save a lot of money on fuel for myself and the world.
Problems I see, pressure, rate of use and comsumion, anount of hyd. needed per hour on a trip, etc.
is their any first hand help out their?

Water = hydrogen + Oxygen .Why cant we make a system wherein the water is split and the resulting Gas can be used to burn as Fuel.the electricity for the splitting can be generated by a battery initially which can get charged as the vehicle is moving.

I have heard about people who are building hydrogen injection kits for cars that inject hydrogen into your intake manifold. They are all promising a 25% to 50% increase in gas mileage with these systems. Has anybody here tried this? What kind of long term affects can I expect one of these kits to have on my engine?

I’ve seen these electrolysis devices for sale and I really don’t think they would work. Is anyone using one of these devices and how is it working?? I’ve got a friend who purchased one and is putting it on his truck…
FYI: I’m not thinking about running off 100% hydrogen, but the Brown’s Gas that is produced when water is electrolyzed
such as the system here at www.savefuel.ca
We’ll see what happens…My bet is that it isn’t gonna work though…

I know this is why helium is used in blimps. And if it could be safely used, would big oil ever allow it to be marketed?

I feel it should not be used. They say water is pouring out of the exhaust pipe, however it is a gas. Hydrogen is a gas. Filling up would be much more dangerous, as hydrogen is much more explosive. Hydrogen cars are expensive, as well. I don’t feel this option is a good idea. What do you think about hydrogen cars?
