Hi, I installed a homemade HHO fuel cell in my car, and now the car sputters at 3000rpms. Help? 2004 Accord?

Cell was made from 12 stainless steel plates, baking soda was added to water. Disconnected rubber hose from intake manifold, drilled a hole in the intake manifold rubber hose(just after the airfilter), Put hydrogen hose into manifold. Hooked HHO wires up to car battery(just held them there, to test). 14guage, 20 amp wire, also a 40amp fuse was used on the hydrogen generator. After I hooked it up, it sounded fine. I didnt proceed to hook the generator up. I test drove the car without the HHO and immediately at 3000 rpms the car would sputter and wouldnt go over 3000rpms. I tried to reset the computer by unhooking the neg. battery terminal, I checked the O2 sensors, they looked fine. I dont think there is a leak in the vacuum but will be getting carb cleaner to check. Thanks for your help. -Jacqueline

Help! Is it my water pump or could it be the thermostat?

The other day I went to the gas station and noticed I was leaking anti-freeze so I went home and add more anti-freeze. The next day I went to the station again and when I got there I checked and no leak and when I got home no leak either. I live in WI and it was below 0 for a few days, If that helps. I don’t know if it is my water pump or maybe my thermostat? Can I drive it or not? Please help me I’m a single parent with only the one car (’96 Jeep Grand Cherokee ). And is it expensive to change the water pump?
Thank you all for such a fast response you all are great!! When it leaked it was on the passanger side mainly. I hope it is a hose (loose or hole). I will see if I can find someone take a look at it. With the cold weather we had hopefully it is minor. Again Thank You All and Merry Christmas!!!

1996 Jeep Cherokee 2.5 L driving me nuts can you help?

I have a problem getting it to run. it has a new engine, radiator, water pump, harmonic balencer, fuel pump, crankshaft sensor, map sensor, fuel filter radiator hoses. fan belt, fan clutch, ignition switch, temp sensor, muffler & tail pipe. just to name a few items it ran good for the first few thousand miles. then it went into a spell it back fired & blew apart the muffler & blew off the top cover of the vacume canister. I reinstalled the diaprham spring & cover on the canister & replaced the muffler. then in less then 2 miles it backfired again and it blew of the canister cover & blew apart the muffler. then it would not start at all. the only way I am able to re-start it is to prime it, but it wont sray running unless I disconnect the vacume line that goes to the mapp sensor, it will stay running but it wont take a load. As soon as I plug in the vac. line to the mapp sensor it dies. any Ideas are much appriciated. thank’s for any HELP. Bill f. e-mail @ faraci3@verizon.net

Frozen Water in Radiator, Help!!?

Ok I warmed up my van in the driveway got in it and drove about 1 mile down the road when it suddenly shot up to hot on the temp gauge. The heater was blowing freezing air. I pulled over and waited for it to cool. Got it to a gas station and checked the engine. Waited for it to cool off enough to open the radiator cap and found some frozen water in the top. Slushy not frozen solid. There was also water sprayed eveywhere uder the hood. Water was leaking out onto the ground. I am pretty sure the radiator is shot now (It was leaking from both sides on the bottom). My question is do you think I blew the engine or cracked the heads and what can I do to fix this problem. Can I put some antifreeze in it and start it? Full time college student and I really need my car. By the way it was about -2 overnight. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The van was still running fine when I pulled into the gas station. I had it towed home. Thanks for the answers so far they are all helpful.

Gas smell coming from car heaters please help.?

i have a 2000 peugeot 206 1.4. the other day i realized i have an Oil lear from the front left side of the car just by where the timing belt sits. i took it to a mechanic and after stripping the timing belt out we saw that there was an Oil leak coming from the engine head gasket and we got it replaces with a new one and new timing belt, water bump and the other part that the timing belt sits on.

i had some kind of smell before as well but now i can smell something that smells like gas coming from the heaters when its on and the car is running.
