Currently driving a 2000 Chevy Malibu LS with almost 157,000 miles on it. Have had phenomenal luck with it so far and plan to drive it until repairs get too expensive or it goes out for good (only major thing to go wrong is water pump wore out and needed to be replaced). Otherwise, I do all the routine maintenance on it.
However, I know at some point in time I’m going to need another car. With gas prices increasing, I need something real economical. I’m looking into a Chevy Aveo or something similar to get really, really good gas mileage. (I drive 60 miles to and from work each day on a highway, on cruise control).

50 hp Yamaha motor boat (1996). Something is shutting down the carburetor. New, thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel/water seperator (4 within year).
My 2001 Celica GT runs great. Everytime I refuel however it stalls. If I keep the rpm’s up for a couple of minutes it will be fine again. The lower the gas level is when I refuel, the worse it stalls. I have tried fuel injector cleaner in the gas and also that stuff that dries up the water in your gas tank and neither works. It never did this before and I just returned from a year overseas and it was in storage that year but I had someone start it up at least once a month while I was there. What could be the problem?
