I just bought this car yesterday, today being February 29, 2008. Already I’m having, what I’m hoping, are mild problems. The pipes in the back have some sort of black substance in them. I don’t know anything about cars. My boyfriend picked it out for me since he knows a whole lot more about cars than I do. Yesterday the odometoer read 141,000 miles. This morning I drove the car to work and it read 888888 for a short period of time, then it jumped back to 141,000. And we also noticed that the back pipes were leaking water. Is this good or bad? Will someone please tell me what’s going on with this crazy car!

Thinking about getting one of those “kits” that converts a car to use gas and HHO (hyrdogen) gas… comments?
Anyone else done this and been successful? Apparently, all you need to do is pour water and baking soda into this mason jar looking thing, and hook it up right. Seems very simple, lots of people doing it on you tube, has anyone done this yet for themselves and does it really work?
I’ve been looking and looking for an engine made to run on Hydrogen gas…?
And hopefully specifications on its fuel consumption vs it’s horse power. And then of course pricing.
Water? Dripping from firebird driver rear quarter panel? Its not gas…?

This is the third time ive noticed this and it hasnt been raining and my car hasnt been wet, but for some reason it seems that some kind of clear liquid, maybe water, is dripping from my driver side quarter panel(rear fender) kind of below the gas tank door, but im 100% sure its not gas. I can get under my car and look and my the bottom of the quarter panel is wet, just on the very bottom, as you can only barely tell when you are underneath the car. Any idea what it could be?
