I am reading a book that has some… very weird sciences to it.
Some people are trying to survive in a post America world, and they need gas to get 200 miles to pick up supplies.
The guy said that in World War 2 people converted wood, coal, charcoal to gas.
it says he needs a hot-water tank for the conversion and that it would get them where they needed but only at about 30 mph.
So my question is, is this really possible.

My MB Sport fires up, however it only runs for a few seconds. It sounds as if only one side of the plugs are firing. It revs and lulls, then revs and lulls… a couple more times… then dies.
It ran fine all day… then we set in a cove.
I’ve checked the plugs… I’ve replaced the distributor and wires last year… I had the fuel pump replaced last year.
This is the first time I took it out this year. I had the tank filled with gas and water remover in it.
Anybody have any ideas, before I take it to the $$$$$shop?
It is a 2005 MB Sport Wakeboard Boat. 330 Excalabur Engine… really a chevy 350.

My 03 suburban’s engine keeps dying on me. It runs good and all of a sudden it dies. It turns over but will not start, after it sits for a while it will start back up sometimes running very ruff. This all started after a trip to New Orleans. I have been told I must of gotten some gas with water in it but I pretty much have ran that gas out along with using Lucas gas treatment and three tanks of gas later it will still stall and die.

I put gas in my car from a container, bout a quarter tank went up. And my car started to skip or stall for a sec every time at a red to green light. Push down on accelerator and rpms wouldn’t go past 100. But then after the skips and praying my car won’t stall it starts to go. A little while ago my change oil came on but we shut the light off cuz it came on to early. It’s been bout a month now since the light. Now I have service engine light. Could it b that the gas is the problem or the oil. It might b watered down gas. I have been putting the expensive gas in my tank to try and filter out the water but it shoulda filtered out by now if I’m correct. I got a 2000 oldsmobile alero thanks
I don’t know how old the gas is. All I know is the guy ciphered the gas that’s what he said.
