on my way home from work yesterday , i came to a stop waiting for the light to change my car started missing real bad…. so i took off for home and had no power , pulled over and called a tow truck. today i took a compression test and the results are as followed # 1- 153 #2- 36
#3-00 and #4- 00. I just wanted to know what could have happened ?
oh ya, it was still full of water, oil and gas.???????
the timing chain is fine . also checked the cam n lifters are also good.

Well my car sat for a year because of an accident. I put stable in it enough to last a year but is been about 5 months past a year. How do I check if the gas has gelled up or if the octane has turned into water without dropping my tank? Or siphoning it out.

So I can start my 1987 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 20 Truck, with a 350, but when I drop it into drive or reverse it will turn off, even if I try to put the gas down. Ok so the reason why I am having problems is because my little nephew decided to play gas man and filled my gas tank up with water. That was about a year ago. So I pumped all of the gas and water out by disconnecting the fuel line and turning on the fuel pump, with the gas going to a gas can. Then I changed the fuel filter, put about 5 gallons of gas in and then I got some stuff that you mix with youre gas to get the water out. I did that and it would start but stall when I drop it into gear. So what do you think I should do next? I was thinking the fuel injectors might be clogged up because the car has been sitting for so long. I did not try to start the car when all that water was in there. Then I was also think maybe I didn’t get all of that water out because I just used the fuel pump. Should I drop that gas tan k and actually empty it out? Please tell me what you think I should do? You’re help is appreciated. Thank you
It is fuel Injected. Cars with Carbuerators don’t have fuel injectors, right? By adjusting the timing you are talking about making the car idle at a higher RPM, right? Why would that fix the problem?
Yes and if you car dies when it is idleing (like the rpm’s slowly drop untill the engine cuts off) most of the time that is because there is too much build up in the throttle body and you need to take the tb off and clean it and inside the intake and inside of everything else that you can get into without getting cleaner in the engine. You should never just keep on raising the rpm’s you are idling at.

im just wondering what would happen for an experiment. im pretty sure that when you mix copper (pennies) and Vinnegar (acid) that itcreates hydrogen gas, which is flammable. what i was wondering is
1. is that true
2. would it rise so could you capture the gas with something like a baloon
3. would it be explosive if lighted?
please answer
