I’m thinking about buying a jet ski but I know nothing about them?

First thing I’d like to know if the warranty on them is standard 1 year limited. On most Wave runners?

Second is how long do they last without requiring repairs? When is the time for check up on the boat? Cost?

Price range on a jet ski? I’m seeing 7000-10,000 for a wave runner.

Any models you would say is better? Honda or Yamaha?

Are they salt water and fresh water? Or is it one or the other and not both?

Any features I should look for other then turbo? I’ve heard Turbo ones eat gas and require repairs.

I am planning on buying a new car, which should I buy?

I don’t want to get ripped off or buy a lemon, so I might be working on buying a car for months.

So this is the first car I am going to buy. It’s a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle. I ran a carfax report and everything was great except that at the Identifix Reliability ratings it says under “engine” –

“Occasional problems on this vehicle are failure of the Mass Air
Flow Sensor and the Water pump. The cost to repair the Mass Air
Flow Sensor is estimated at $329.00 for parts and $32.50 for
labor. The cost to repair the Water Pump is estimated at $66.00
for parts and $169.00 for labor, gasoline engines and $104.00 for
parts and $247.00 for labor, diesel engines. All prices are
estimates based on $65.00 per flat-rate hour and do not include
diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.”
