I have been thinking about getting a new car for next year. What brands are getting the best gas mileage? What should I look for? I already have a 1998 Subaru Outback with 133000 miles on it. Now needs new heads and water pump.
Thanks,

Okay, so a little information about my car first:
-1990 Honda Accord LX
-Sedan
- Curb weight 2,728 lbs (according to Wiki)
-2.2 L, DOHC, I4 125 HP (back then)
-Most gas mileage websites say 24 city 30 highway (which will probably be a bit less 20 years later)
-It has 215k miles on it with a used tranny and a new recent water pump/battery; everything else is bone stock.
Now, although the tank is 17 gallons, when the gauge has reached empty I’ve generally used 14-15 gallons (safety measure I would assume, because when I fill up on E I’ve never seen it pass 14.5 gals or so). So therefore we can say that half a tank according to the gauge would be 7.5 gallons.

My truck, a 1996 5.0L V8 with 81K miles. Has a hard time starting. It started doing it last night. It cranks for about 5 or 6 seconds then it finally starts. Its in nearly Perfect condition and i just recently (about 6K miles ago) had a new distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, new exhaust system. I tryed running preminum fuel and a fuel additive thinking water in the fuel an that doesn’t help. Anyone have any ideas?
its a manual trans, 4×4
forgot to add, it recieved a new battery and clutch about 7K miles ago

I’ve not found a good additive for my truck to remove moisture(water) that I’ve been told by many that is causing havoc with my motor.

I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee – only gets like 15-16 mpg. I’m only 16 so I don’t have a lot of money for gas, so what are the best ways to save money on gas? Do those devices that you attatch to the engine to use water really work? If not, what are some other things I could do to save money?
