car and need to turn it like 2 to 3 time before the car start. Some of you mention that I may need a new STARTER or a SOLENOID. My dad took my car today to a mechanic that we know and he said he found nothing wrong with the car. he said the starter looks fine. And believe that Water is in my Gas Tank from getting gas from different gas station causes my car not to start sometime. So my question is this even possible? Water in tank would cause me to not start the car sometime and hear the “clicking” noise? I’m lost on this subject. I was sure its the starter.

i’ve been told time and time again not to let the gas meter hit “empty” before filling up. so far i’ve been listening to the advice, but i’ve never really understood why that’s the case.
they tell me the impurities and sediments in gas settles to the bottom of the tank and it’s bad for it to run through the engine but where do all these impurities come from?? certainly not from the gas itself because to my knowledge the distillation process is very clean and efficient.

I filled it up with gas for the first time in months, and the needle is bouncing around. I can’t tell how much gas is there. What is wrong? Is there water in the tank? Can the float go bad? 209,000 miles!

Motor stored in down position so no water sat in it. Fuel got left hooked up so it had fuel in it. Motor has less than 200 hours.
Correction on hours: Only 110 hours.

Fuel Injected. Pulled plugs and turned it over by hand.

It doesn’t work. you would need a converter the size of a 1/2 acre to get the hydrogen out of water.
