Planning on buying a car, what has the best gas mileage in U.S?

When are the plug in hybrids arriving to the market? I heard something about Fuel and Hydrogen cell cars, when are these cars supposed to come out? I want something around 100 mpg.

yeah so do ford, gm, chrysler and toyota…. reset your sights on lower mileage unless you have about $100,000 and are willing to wait about 2-3 years for experimental production…otherwise the prius from toyota is at the top of the list…

be forewarned all the top hybrids are carrying a premium above sticker price…so be ready to pull out the wallet

there is a x prize for a car that can get 100 m.p.g. ….. motorcycles don’t get a hundred miles to the gallon

If you’ve got $100,000 you could order one of these: http://www.teslamotors.com/

The best fuel economy for sale today for a reasonable price is the Toyota Prius Hybrid.
