Has Anyone Tried The “water4gas” Conversion? Does It Work? Is It A Lot Of Work/confusion?

It does not work and it never will work. The energy it takes to turn water into hydrogen and oxygen always exceeds the amount of energy you can get from either gas. Until you can overturn the laws of thermodynamics it will not work and any money you spend on this scam would be better used as fuel in your fireplace. They will not even sell you devices the last time I checked, only kits and plans, so they can try to stay just inside the law. If you could produce hydrogen economically you still wouldn’t want to cobble something together on your own since hydrogen gas is much more prone to leakage than gasoline and it’s very flammable. Read about the Hindenburg to see what happens if hydrogen leaks out of a vehicle.
It’s a fraud and not even a very good one so my advice is to stay away.

Looks like a bit of a con to me, I don’t understand why it’s so cheap, electrolosis is a very expensive proccess at the moment.
even if it is true you won’t get energy for free, the electrolosis that converts the water to gas will need power, taken from the alternator, which will simply demand more energy from the engine, increasing you gasoline usage like air con does. You’ll lose enegy due to inefficiencies in the system.
For that price you might be able to get a diesel running on veg oil….

If this worked there would be at least one major car company offering it as an option. How much would Ford’s sales increase if they could advertise “Never buy fuel again.” Conversion kits would be sold at Pep Boys and NAPA. There is a reason these kits are not in parts stores. They don’t want the dissatisfied customers when it doesn’t work.

I have tried it. It does work. There is some trial and error to it depending on the car. I have it on my 2003 kia spectra. I have since used this application on smaller gas powered engines (lawnmowers). I am progressing towards running a lawnmower completely on water.

The growing trend of people selling a way to convert water into fuel is growing like wildfire so to put it briefly, it cannot work. I can get into the specifics but if you’re so inclined, go consult with an expert on chemistry to see why these are scams and a waste of money.

The cost to convert your car to water and gas can cost substantial expensive up front. Its would take years to get your return on your investment. And what do you do if we run out of gas? Or if gas becomes way too costly? Alternate energy like natural gas, solar and wind energy will be with us always.

My car manufacturer very clearly states that use of this conversion will invalidate the warranty, so I have steered clear of this option.
I would advise you to check with your vehicle manufacturer for warranty and recommendations.

It’s a con, and yes I can PROVE it a con using the numbers water4gas posts at its web site.
I’ve posted it here many times so if you want to see it again post and edit to your question and I’ll repost it here.

Look at Popular Mechanics, they built one and it did not work. All the sellers are moving offshore because the FTC is shutting them down. Two people have gone to prison over the scam Google Dennis Lee for 1.

It is a scam. I am 78 years old and heard this all my life , but have never saw one that worked. If it worked ,it would cost 100 times what it does. Every body would want one.

Go for it.
I know it does not work but I’ll have a good laugh at the idiots here who try it.
