My ranger keeps trying to spin over but wont start i might have water in oil and gas. I added a can of seafoam. I was able to get started for 20 seconds then it died. I’m getting a spark its a 2.5 sohc automatic

Ok, lets take this one thing at a time.
Check the oil and see if in fact you have water in the oil. You would likely see it. If you were out playing in water with your truck, you might have some water in your oil, but it’s not too likely that it will get in your gas, unless you left your fuel cap off. If you have water in your oil you can do huge amounst of damage to your engine, if you haven’t already.
If you have water in your oil, drain the oil and refill.
Now, as to the gas tank. Throw a can of dry gas in your tank and slosh it around (I jump on my bumper, but my neighbors already think I’m nuts anyway). This should take care of that.
If you were able to get it running for 20 seconds, it sounds like the ignition system is OK, unless you’ve got a weak coil (or coils). I am not sure if this engine is a distributor engine or not. Check and see if everything looks “ok”.
My guess is that one of the sensors in system isn’t working correctly, maybe even the throttle position sensor. I would normally suggest that you get the codes read (sometimes parts stores will lend out code readers). Your truck will indicate codes (it’s a 2000? 2001?). You will probably be able to diagnose the problem once you see the codes.
There is one last option. If you sucked in enough water in your engine, and you’ve got lots of H2O in the oil, you could have cooked the bearings. If that’s the case, your engine will need a full rebuild.
Good luck
If it starts and then stalls when you spray starting fluid into the air cleaner (throttle plate), then you may have a fuel pump problem. Test the fuel pump as described in the article below. Fuel pressure must be around 40 psi or so. Check the specification and measure with a fuel pressure gauge.

first make sure you got gas in the truck, if so change the fitter
it turns over but won,t fire and it has good spark ? how about the gas? are you getting gas to the engine? maybe the fuel filter is stopped up. does the pump kick on when you turn the key on? if not then it could be the relay.
