electro and hydro powered cars.. does anyone else hate them?

ok well i think they are stupid.

electro powered cars batteries are made of a substance thats illegal to break down in Australia. they have to be shipped to India to be broken down by HAND which costs HEAPS for the shipping and heaps for a new one! it also doesnt help india with the whole ratiation thing as the batteries are toxic.
The battery also only works from speeds of 0 to 14 km and hour. STUPID since most roads are about 40-60 km an hour which after the car has reached these speeds, the petrol engine will kick back in making it pointless.

With water powered cars they are just so stupid with the whole water shortage thing. Hydrogen gas is highly toxic and is worse for the environment than Co2 gasses that we already have. Another point is to run a Hydrogen car you need a HUGE amount of pressure. because of this hydrogen is highly unstable so everytime hydrogen cars crash half the frikkin neighbourhood will blow up.

does anyone else rekkon these are stupid inventions? does anyone have any other views to add?

soz for the grammar too its like 10 pm at night lol
x
i dont really have a bad thing to say about uranium even tho its highly toxic… its a prime export to china i think so yeh.. ideas are still welcome..

Hi,
That’s OK, I never look at grammar.
Will you see, we have a pretty big energy problem and the rate that we’re using our fossil fuels, we’re going to run out pretty sound. We have to come up with something to make it so that we don’t use up all that resource. Waters not too bad actually because after it is split apart and recombined, water is the result. We do need to take some safety precautions because the hydrogen is toxic, highly flammable, and needs to be compressed in order to work at its best this can be done though. My biggest beef is nuclear power. The byproduct waste is Plutonium which has a radioactive half life of 16,000,000 years.
The problem is that the best containment we can provide lasts only about 2000 years. They are burying the stuff in these containers. That’s not good. What are we going to do with this? Leave them a note? O by the way there’s 20 tons of plutonium beneath this cement slab. You guys will have to figure out what to do with it pretty soon because the containers we made are not good enough. You’re talking about stupid, now if you ask me, I’d say that has to be the most stupid thing man has ever done. Burying radioactive waste in containers that do not last as long as the waste inside of them. The worst part about it all is this: we are still burying the stuff. That’s messed up.
