Yes, water has been used for trains even, remmeber Steam engines?
You cannot however convert a conventional internal combustion engine to do so if thats what you are asking. I think the worlds fresh water supply is more of a crisis than any oil or petroleum supply, there is no oil crisis!!!!! You can thank the liberal media for high gas prices

It can be used, but it’s not practical. You will need to change the exhaust system to stainless and you need controls and so much more, just to get it to add miles to your gas mpg. Hydogen extracted from the water, vapors into your intake supply, mixing with the gas to extend the range of the mpg from the gasoline.

It’s too corrosive however and really not a proven advantage.

Why don’t you think the auto makers don’t push it? Because
noting works better than good ole gasoline, E85 blows also.

one day…it would need a process called fast electrolysis. This is when you put a positive and negative charge into water and separate the hydrogen and oxygen from water. This is far more combustible than water. Electolysis needs lots of energy though, so you would need something like HT leads to put into the water tank. Rust won t be a problem, there are many ways to overcome this.
