and where are you getting the gas..forget it…go invent the 150 mpg carburetor
You can do anything with enough money. Really , the internal combustion engine will run on anything that is flamable enough. Alcohol, diesel fuel, gasoline, methanol, etc. Hydrogen gas is certainly flammable but it is the least dense fuel that there is. This means that you will need to burn ALOT of it to make a car work.
hydrogen is an excellent fuel, right.
However, its an extremely highly flammaable & explosive gas. Take care. Dont try anything without experts.
If you may, just buy a CNG [compressed natural gas] car kit with gas cylinder and tune the gas valve for Hydrogen. make sure the no-return valve on the gas line is real good. You may also want to install a flame flash back arrestor on the fuel line.
Check the fittings for ZERO LEAKAGE. and no over heating.
good luck , there are no commercially available tanks for liquid hydrogen yet , and if you stored it as a gas you would have no range , start with Nat. gas or LPG . that’s the price you pay for being ahead of the curve
4stroke normally asperated gasoline powered internal combustion engines can be converted to run on hydrogen. Please see http://www.clean-air.org – it’s the American Hydrogen Association’s homepage. So far I’ve converted a 3.5hp B&S lawn mower to run on hydrogen and also converted a propane camp stove to hydrogen operation.
