Can Anyone Introduce Me A Person Who Has Succeeded To Use Water As An Alternate Fuel For Running Automobiles?

A scientist or engineer who has ideas of using water as the next cleanest fuel as it will emit oxygen in the atmosphere and recycle back as water after burning the hydrogen part as fuel in running engines .I am interested on this topic to know the progress of man’s achievment in this alternate supply of water as a fuel as 2 third of the earth’s crust is made up of water .

At this time an engine fueled by water isn’t practical, feasible or producible on a large scale.
There have been a few attempts at this type of engine over the years — a number occurring in the 1940s to 60s. This in part also lead to the work that has been done in “cold fusion” research as well.
What is interesting is that David Mamet wrote a great short story / play about this topic called “The Water Engine” that was absolutely gripping. Great read!

I hope that never happens though… have you seen the price of bottled water… can you imagine what that would do the the price of water?

Absolutely no one. Water is not a fuel. Electrolysis of water is a method of storing EMF or electrical energy as chemical energy. Nothing more.

Are you planning to use water as fuel for your stove? Space heater? BBQ? Steam engine? Any other thing where you can actually SEE the flame the fuel makes? No, of course not. Because any idiot knows water doesn’t burn. But those same idiots seem unaware that the gasoline IS BURNING inside the engine where you cannot see it. So before you make a car run on water, you show me how you will make water burn!
Oh, you want to use electricity to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen? It is easy to calculate how much electricity you need to make one mole of hydrogen gas, and how much energy you can get from burning one mole of hydrogen. And you will find that it takes more energy to make the hydrogen that you get by burning it! And if you don’t know what a mole is then you don’t know $#!+ and have no business trying to make a new kind of car.

if you ever find him, i’d like to meet him too.
good luck!
