91 Toyota Camry…I need help?

I have a 91 toyota camry, has around 177000 miles on it. It tends to burn through the oil pretty quickly so I have to change it often. After changing it last week, it started sputtering when I hit the gas to try to get some speed. If you let it sit and run for a little while, I won’t have any problem with it, it’s only when you start it up and drive immediately. Thick white smoke comes out when you start it up. I thought it was water in the gas, so I filled it up with gas and put fuel cleaner in it. It still didn’t help so I changed the fuel filter, drained all the gas out, and filled it up again along with more fuel cleaner. It got a little better, but still isn’t running like it should. Can anyone give me any ideas?

Internal engine problems. get a diagnostic check at a repair shop, if to costly to repair shop around for a new or used car. you could spend more than the car is worth.

White smoke is oil, dark smoke is gas, looks like the oil is draining from the valve stem seals to the cylinder, you have two choices, try to get a thicker oil, or remove the heads and replace the seals, if is my car I will try to get thicker oil until the engine quits….

you have a leaking intake manifold or a blown head gasket. you can probably smell something sweet burning, that is antifreeze.

the smoke is oil being burnt. you can either change the the valve seals or use a thicker body oil so it wont burn out fast.
the sputtering can be different problems. like a clog catalyst or dirty injectors or throttle.
