22re not getting fuel?

I bought this 4runner for a parts vehicle but after closer inspection I found it only needed a new head and I also installed all new front engine parts, (timing chain, timing gears, timing chain cover, oil pump, and water pump). after all that work, it ran good until something in the electrical system for the fuel pump or injectors went out. the wiring to and from the fp looks good and the fuel pump works if it is hot wired. anybody have any idea what this could be?

Sure it’s not just the fuses? There could be a short in the wiring somewhere that is causing the fuse to blow.

Bad fuel pump relay maybe. If oil presure sending unit is not sensing oil pressure the injectors will not work.

Could be your computer was not told that a new head was in the car. Start it up and check the on board computer.
