2000 firebird v6 3800?

o to start it off i have this firebird that ran great when i got it until i ran to the gas station one day and got gas they had water in their gas and i got about a quarter of gas when i drove home that same night it started to mist a little. then when i went to start it up everyday it started gettin worser so i took it to a mechanic and he said run the gas all out and pour this antifreeze in it to soak up the water so i pour that in there and stp and gunmount and another deal of stp thinkin it would help it only had a quarter of gas remember. then one day it got bad and didnt have even enough power to get up a hill. so i changed the spark plugs out and it ran a little better but i messed up and put one of the plugs on backwards so it started to backfire and real bad so i had it toed to and mechanic and he changed the furel filter and coils and spark plugs out. now it runs good a gain but still doesnt have the power to go like it did but enough to drive u can stomp it and doesnt want to go and my oil is extremely dark i dont know why because i still have like 2000 miles to go on it so my queastion is why dont it have the power like it did and why could my oil be so dark for? and yes my service engine light is on and sometimes blinks
