You can check the fuel pump’s flow/psi on the fuel rail.

Could be low gas pressure and even a gas filter causing uneven gas pressure flow.Might be a fuel injector sticking too.Little test try if you can’t test the gas pressure , unplug one at a time your fuel injectors and thoroughly clean the contacts , change the gas filter bec it probably needs gas filter changed anyways I’d suspect, plus add some gas treatment just in case its moister but I highly doubt if it’s moister you’d have the car acting up at slower speeds too.
Best of luck , hopes this helped
I would overhaul that cars electrical if I was you also.

your right it could be either one causing that too happen ,what its doing is cutting out ,but only temporarily, you might want to try and change the gas filter first and see if that helps it,i have seen in a few case that take care of the problem and in some it wouldn’t,you also have a fuel pump relay that can start to go bad and cause the same thing to happen,it might be a real good idea to have the computer scanned on it to see if it gives any trouble codes,if it does this may tell you whats causing that too happen, this could even be a small electrical problem, maybe a scan will tell you more about it,but i wouldn’t go buying parts for it until i had a better idea of what may be doing this, buying un-needed parts these days gets really expensive, good luck on it.

fuel pressure is a possibility. the is a test port on the fuel rail to check it. it does not have a replaceable fuel filter. get it scanned before throwing parts at it. it may be momentarily losing spark because the cam or crank sensor are dropping off. they will not always set a code either, it may have to be driven by a tech with a scanner and duplicate the problem.
