07 Honda ridgeline driver side leak, water seems to be around dead pedal across to gas.?

Noticed a lil bit of a musty smell the other morning, lifted the mat and it was damp. If anyone has experience with removing carpet, kick panels, and finding leaks I do need help fixing this. The dealer says its out of warranty and don’t have a lot of coin to throw into it right now…and I can’t leave it or it will ruin the truck….constructive ideas are appreciated.

Thanks for your help!

Common problems that can cause this……….

1. Leaking heater core / check antifreeze levels first while engine is cold.

2. Water leak from outside / you need two people to do this…..one inside and one outside with a water hose and while the water is running down the front windshield the person inside will need to start checking where it is coming in from.

3. Repair as needed.

4. If its the heater core I would call the Honda customers service department because that will be expensive…

5. Toll-free number: 1-800-999-1009
